Oil Types
When a Porsche in the Indianapolis area requires an oil change service, you can rest assured that we provide exactly what any Porsche might need when it comes to engine oil change service. From conventional, synthetic, to diesel oil changes, we are always ready to provide any Porsche model with premier oil change service quality and value that every Porsche deserves.
Conventional - also called standard or regular oil, it is the baseline oil type that works well but is less refined than synthetic oils. Conventional oil is slightly less costly but generally requires more frequent oil changes due to its reduced performance compared to synthetics. Many older-model Porsches take this oil type.
Synthetic - also called Full-Synthetic or Synthetic Blend, synthetic is the technical word for man-made. Synthetic oils require significant refinement but also resist thermal breakdown for longer than Conventional under similar driving circumstances. Synthetic oil requires more refinement, costs slightly more, but also requires less frequent oil change services. Many of our loyal customers with older-model Porsches have changed from Conventional to Full-Synthetic because of the engine-protecting benefits that it can provide.
Diesel - oil change service specifically designed for diesel-engine models including the Cayenne, Macan, and Panamera.
