There are quite a few changes for the 2023 Porsche Macan. Learn what’s new and why this luxury crossover has garnered so much attention and discussion. The developers at Porsche automakers have made design changes and technology implementations worth discussing.

Performance

Under the hood of the base model is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine that leverages 261 horsepower for a five-second sprint from zero to 60 mph. Buyers will have the option to upgrade to a twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 434 horsepower.

The engine is mated to the brand’s Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. The PDK transmission is designed to minimize power disruption as you shift gears. With the addition of steering wheel gearshift paddles, you can shift gears manually if you choose.

Design

The 2023 Porsche Macan is graced with new designs that give the exterior a sportier feel than its predecessors. This is evident in the 19-inch wheels, with their side blades in Lava Black and three-dimensional textures.

Interior

Some adjustments have been made to the cabin. The driver’s seat has been raised for increased ergonomics and visibility. The front seats come with an eight-way electric seating configuration, though you can upgrade to 14- and 18-way configurations.

T Trim

Aside from the base Porsche Macan, upper trims include the S and GTS variants. The 2023 model will also introduce the Porsche Macan T. This version comes with the Sport Chrono package, which includes a launch control feature and a driving mode selector.
